anyone else having probs getting into the chat room:confused:

Hi Danny,
It’s clear that the ajax chat room doesn’t work too well and is causing a lot of frustration.
We decided to move the chat off site and onto the IRC network, IRC is almost as old as the internet and is established and proven.
The chat will be accessed via a java client hosted on our website and we have full control over the channel.
You will need to register with Nickserv to reserve your user name and so we can know its actually you on the channel you also need to set protect mode on +P on your nick to prevent anyone else using it.
You can do all this by clicking the session button and opening the NickServ Panel

It’s clear that the ajax chat room doesn’t work too well and is causing a lot of frustration.===nothings changed so
its coming that java is loading i have updated my java and still nothing,,,,if this is used for people coming in to enquire for an investigation or help i think they will get pissed of like me after 30 mins and go somewere else,,the idea is to keep it simple as possible for the public

What was the problem with the original AJAX chat, I've never ran into any probs

I am still having problems with the chat, when i went to follow derek from here into the chat i entered my user and password and it said nick traze allready registerd and would not let me in but when i follow the link from my fav that i saved it lets me in but the room is still small in the fonts and same colour as last time i was in. was wondering as maurqa said ryan had changed colour and made fonts bigger. lads i am hopeless at this, i am following all the details from email that ryan sent but i am getting no where . helpppppppppppppppppppppp
