Creepy fairy insect

Hmm i was thinking it was 2 dragonflies mating and its just the way they took off.

ok had a good look it to me looked like a dragon fly then it took a shape so i think it was changed inbetween somewhere:D

It look animated to me at first i taught it was a dragonfly but then it looked more animation.. also if you look at the tree when the kids first go over to it. the texture looks strange maybe it's just the camera or me :)

I thought the two things that look like legs were actually the abdo of each dragon fly and one was doing the flying lolllllllllllllll

Very big bloody dragon flies if you ask me. even with the two of them if there is two of them stuck together, it still comes across like a fairy. well done the dragon flies lol

I would have to agree with Garret on this. It seems to be a flash animation overlaid to create the effect. Here are some screen shots as the "Fairy" makes an appearance.

Parts of the "Fairy" apparently move through the bark of the tree, also when it actually takes flight the movement and direction of the wings are wrong, to fly in the direction that this "Fairy" does, would need the wing surfaces to be more horizontal rather than vertical as shown here.

I was having a look at this as well and saw that it just faded from nothing clearly showing that it was inserted by still good example for training!!!

Tony what video program do you use for those still shots?

I download the youtube file, then use a screen capture device to grab a paused image.

this probably sounds like a really stupid thing to say but it really reminds me of the little fairies from pans labrynth...
