I will provide a full overview of the new permissions system soon, but a few of the important points are.
1, There are three default groups Admin is obvious, Guest holds the permissions for users who are not logged in and default is the permissions for users who are logged in but are not assigned to a user group.
2, You can create as many user groups as you wish and assign permissions using the matrix.
3, Admin Mode (Access to all Records) if a group does not have this then users in that group can only see records that they own. If you want your team to see all records on a table then tick this box, this does not grant admin access and I will change the wording on this.
4, If a user is in more than one group then they will inherit the permissions from both groups
