Okay, let's suppose that, instead of the history we know, Henry VIII had gotten his way, re Katherine of Aragon, and had never had the impetus to split from Rome. Everything remained as it was.
Whither history?

Henry the VIII was not fond of the church in any case, so probably would have found a reason to break away from the Roman Catholic Church, it may seem strange but he was not a fan of protestantism either. I have to ask, is there any real point to this? when dealing with history "what ifs" doesn't matter "what was" does. Dreams and fantasy are OK but don't let them colour reality.

you didn't annoy me, I was merely wondering if there was a particular idea or observation behind the question, sorry if it was misinterpreted
