Hi,
I was really dissapointed after I read your message. I think its so stupid that she tried faking stuff it just makes life more difficult for those of us who experience things.
What newspaper was that article in ?

Most Haunted is mostly fake. Very few of the episodes had actual things happening...

Hi,
There was one episode which actually scared me a bit. I t was when they managed to record a kind of masculine evil groan. I found that very freaky.
Tell me this, does everybody in this association ever meet up besides on investigations? I think it would be nice to meet and discuss things with like minded people.

As far as I recall, when I was in the PRAI, we had the odd night out, as well as volunteered at Charleville Castle (no investigations), though I haven't heard of anything of this nature at all since leaving...
Hey by the way :)

I don’t watch much television so the show escapes me, but I have heard remarks and many comments regarding it, and I have to admit it does sound exiting.
Regardless of the ability of the medium, or the sensitivity of the equipment, areas of activity or paranormal phenomena are quiet rare, and in there rarity they are almost selective with the time, period of activity and the focus of the anomaly, so the pressure to not only gain information, footage, communication as well as “evidence” must be quiet intense in itself.
And for a long running show, with what appears to host a large audience, its economical sense to want a wide variation of events and activity to not only gain the ratings but maintain the employment and prolonged running of the series.
To expect those not of this world to connect on queue, or place themselves like puppets for a parading can not only be rather insulting but a incredibly difficult task, so it is somewhat understandable why someone would resort to such ill and damaging motions.
But understanding the actions of someone is not an excuse for there display, and as these claims are unproven or of such a high concentration to warrant her redundancy I wish her only the best of hope and that the claims are unfounded.
I most heartily welcome all those that can disclaim such events or the corrupted proprietors of them, for ultimately it is not the hollow shell that shall stand the test of time but the illumination of reality.
I think if anything this set of events has more to say about the lengths and breaths some people are willing to go in order to promote themselves and not the truth of which they seek.

I have been given this website by a friend on myspace. Take a look for yourself and deside if the show has any cred!
I will make no judgement either way but it really is an interesting site.

I've given up on Most Haunted myself, so as far as I'm concerned it's just "entertainment".

Andrew,
I must say I think you hit the nail on the head there. In fact I am watching it now and it is truely amazing how many things appear to be staged. A proper investigation I feel would prove less dramatic. I find it truely hard to believe they could go into so many places and capture the amount of things happen to them.

I definately agree with you. Since moving to England, I've had the opportunity to investigate a few of the locations that MH have investigated, and I've heard quite a few stories about stuff being faked! It's not all that impressive in the grand scheme of things, because it raises people's expectations of an investigation when you really should go in with nothing at all... save for an open mind!
...of course, a camera doesn't hurt either ;)

It is a little suspect that the phenomena that happens around them or to them, is never totally in shot. I would be dubious about the reliability of some mediums they seem to tell people what is expected, have you ever noticed how many pregnant suicidal maid spirits they have encountered. I have only met one medium who surprised me, I called in to my then girlfriends house unannounced when a visiting medium was there, and this medium accurately told me things about my great grandmother that I was aware of but certainly hadn't mentioned to my girlfriend. The medium would not, as far as I can tell, been able to find out the information. My Great grandmother died in London before I was born, our surnames were different, and there was no family resembelance, and I was recieving this reading off the cuff. I lived a few miles away from the girlfriend so it would not have been from neighbours. Sorry for getting distracted there! There does seem to be more of every possible phenomena in a Most Haunted episode than I would expect. If this phenomena was taking place with such frequency there would be more comprehensive documents detailing such phenomena, wouldn't there?
