Hey Guys
.
Im not sure if this is the right place to post this so apoligies if not.
Ok, myself and a friend were talking about widows being able to curse people last night. She reckoned that yeah it did happen and that it could come through, i was a little freaked out by that and asked my mum what was her opinion on it, thinking shed tell me it was all rubbish.
Instead she told me that she once knew a woman that was *supposed* to have placed a curse on another person, that person died nearly 3 months later, of cancer.
Got a little scared then because my uncle died 7 weeks ago and my cousin is still very upset over it, said to me last week he wished it was my dad that died, not his. That it wasnt fair that his was taken away and mine wasnt. I know this sounds very childish but it scared me as i dont want anything to happen my dad (our family ie: granparents mum dad aunts and uncles) dont really speak to my uncles wife.
I was just wondering if anybody here knew if they mean anything or is the bad luck just coincidental.
Once again, apoligies if this is post isnt suited to this forum.
Thanks for reading this far anyhow.
Amy.

Hi Amy,
I don't really believe in curses, but I do think that if they are real. they are only effective if the person who is being cursed knows about it and believes in it.
In other words, it is the power of the mind which brings about a lot of 'bad luck'. So the person who is cursed brings about their own downfall because of their own belief in it.
Please pay no heed to your friend. I't's just an old wives tale or something like that.
Whenever you panic about it or feel stressed, try to visualise white or golden healing light around yourself, your cousin and your father. This should calm you down.
As far as I'm concerned, we all leave this world at our appointed time, not before or after. God or the source does not make mistakes - everything happens for a reason.

Shame on me for not noticing this thread before!
I do hope that this situation has relived itself and that you are now in a more peaceful time in your life.
Candy’s advice above is quiet good, as most “curses” are psychosomatic, working only after the victim is made aware of it, this is where on a subconscious level the individuals mind makes corrupt attempts towords goals, and unconsciously deliberate false judgement that will ultimately lead to a failure and a run of ill luck.
This is an entirely natural phenomenon in which the mind takes its role in making something come to pass, regardless of it being positive or negative fear is an incredible motivational tool, and it can lead to many dark things.
In essence I believe in curses, the same way I believe in prayers, the extension of the will over external forces making changes come to pass, this is my own personal beliefs and thus potrays my perception of the world, it can be seen as an almost psychic attack upon another person in which ill will and strong negative emotions
One thing that comes into play when such things as curses are spoke of is karma, the law of the universe, it is known as many things, three times three, what goes around comes around, you reap as you grow etc. even those that practice the infamous Voodoo/Vodun know that there supplications bring with it a sacrifice and price.
So what makes a widows curse so potent, nothing more then how society views such unfortunate females, up until very recent times women were seen as very weak fragile creatures that couldn’t possible survive without a manly man to take care of them, so a woman that had lost her husband and continued to live her life was seen as somehow “strong” and this was then contributed to a somewhat supernatural power.
So then what do you do if you think you have being cursed??
First and most importantly is not to worry… seriously.
Anxiety and fear can not only compound the situation in play but on a energetic level weaken any psychological and energetic shields we construct and use to protect our being.
In my opinion the working of a real curse usually brings with it somewhat occult study and as most people lack this, the focusing of negative emotions upon the victum is usually the extent of such curse’s so can be shifted easily when intent and positive energy is directed on a cleansing.
Below is simple technique (Kindly given to me by a friend and based on and Essence prayer) that is used to discard a attack and prevent a future one, many people choose to send the ill intent back to its source, I think this unwise as why engage yourself in a dangerous game when you can just step outside it and let life take its role.
This may of course be altered to fit your own personal belief structure.
Arise at dawn to see the sun rise, this is to usher in a new beginning and scatter away the shadows that may have formed.
Light a candle to symbolise both spiritual light as well as the cleansing force of fire.
Say aloud to not only makes the statement clear but also to set in motion a vibration response that can help you achieve your intention.
“Curse of woe,
Spun by maker,
Curse of woe,
I entract,
With there will,
They did make they,
With there will,
Thou came to mass,
I resend no past devotions,
I set they free,
I let the pass”
Allow candle to continue to burn down and then burry the remaining wax.
I do hope that this has helped and if there is anything else I am sure that there are many here that are willing to assist you.
If anyone else has any suggestions or opinion please share!

Hello there folks!
Thought id throw in my own two cents!
Ok, hexes and curses seem very Hollywood with a lot of its power in fear and worry, that play on the mind, one of the best things you can do is just ignore any threats and move on with your life, don’t allow peoples self imposed superiority to stop you from being happy.
