Seaforth lies in the shadow of Knocknarea Hill on the shores of Sligo Bay.
Owen Phibbs, 1842-1912 and archaeologist filled the house with artefacts from the Far East, Syria, and Egypt. Almost as soon as the ancient treasures were installed, unpleasant and malicious poltergeist activities began to happen.
A strange evil figure would be seen on the stairway at night and terrible loud crashes were heard throughout the house.
Crockery and ornaments would be found smashed. On one occasion the whole house shook. Servant would not stay and a gardener was terrified by a tall dark shadow figure that disappeared into the sea. Followed by maniacal laughter.
Jesuit Priests were unable to rid the place of its ghosts and it was eventually abandoned in the 1940’s. It now stands an empty shell.

It's abandoned now, I take it?

I would be more inclined to pick an area that isn’t currently inhabited.
This can provide the freedom of the grounds, as there would be no worries in disturbing the living members of the household.

This area doesn’t seem to have gotten that much media review which is a blessing in disguise as I am sure that you are all aware that a location that becomes the focus for to many individuals all too often loses its chain of experiences.

Many factors may play a part in this either such as creating psychological barriers though gossip and free lance lore or the need to perceive such events in a certain way can arise from extensive prior knowledge of an area and the active leaching of energies from an area through people absorbing it, leaving there own imprint, or attempting to tap into it which disturbs its status.

This is why I choose to vote for the above locality.

(The location of your previous investigations seems to be an exception and indeed a happy one!)
