Hi,

I'm putting together a student radio documentary about science and the paranormal. I was wondering if anyboy is aware of any statistics about how many people in the UK believe in ghosts or have had an experience with the paranormal. I would very much appreciate any insight you have.

Hi Jen, our group are based in Ireland So i am not sure if there is any data regarding england. But i am sure if you contact paranormal ulster or one of the groups with in england they might have a better idea of your request.

In any studies of the paranormal you will find that some people will not want to say publicly that they believe in the paranormal as even though there is an increasing amount of television programmes on the subject - it still could be classed as a tabboo subject! As Traze above says - we are based in the Republic of Ireland so we don't come under the umbrella of your studies.. may I suggest you contact www.hauntedapparitions.co.uk as they may be able to assist you further.
