well I know what some people think about it - but for those, and ONLY those that are interested Most Haunted series started on Living last night - Billy Roberts as medium (who I have high respect for) and they are supposed to have an 8 night stint over Halloween - I know that some people will claim it's faked or staged... however some of the experiments they use may be of interest to those who go on paranormal investigations - to either replicate or give the investigators an idea that will help. For those who enjoy MH it's a reminder that it's back on the screens

I will put my hand up here...Although I don't approve or their methods I do find it entertaining which I suppose is what it's all about (them not us obviously)
When I first started looking into the paranormal I was a die hard fan of the show.:boo:

Well Splanc - as you know I enjoy watching MH for various reasons however I wouldn't dream about going on the show if I had a reputation to uphold!!!
Mind you - I usually turn over to watch something else during the ad breaks or when they are doing the webcams bit!
I do like Chris Conway - he has the David Wells / Billy Roberts approach to contacting spirits which I like....
I did enjoy that experiment that Ciaran did last night - not the phone one as even though the trustees of Ashton Hall said there was nobody else there - it can't be ruled out that somebody was playing a practical joke! The one I did like was the 5 words that Ciaran and one other person knew - and the ouija board - now with Ciaran I would trust him to NOT say what they were, I don't know the other guy - can he be trusted? But it was impressive!
I like the way they are looking in to sound that bit more - the NIPS team when doing their TV series in NI got some phenomena too using a similar base.
I'm so scared watching MH that the only person in my house is me, and a small table lamp is on.... sure isn't it great entertainment!!!!!! :005::005:

I havent seen too much of most haunted really. I did used to laugh actually at the accents. What was the blokes name with the ear ring in his ear...I have forgotten. I used to laugh when i heard him say "person" lollllllllllllllllllllll he said "peerson"
The ones i like to watch are Ghost adventures. I did like the earlier ones though. I reckon those blokes get some good stuff

I have to admit I laughed my head off last night - when the phone was hacked in to..... it freaked out Yvette..... however I also think it was unfair to the audience who would have preferred NOTHING rather than pranks!
Anybody notice that Brian came up with a name during the show? Em... he was at the place doing his sketching earlier in the day - why couldn't he have accessed some form of history of the place between his time sketching and the Live?
One other thing, 666 is NOT "the" number!

That Ghost Adventures is starting here very soon...I'm looking forward to watching that. I've only managed to watch a few mins of MH tonight...I must try watch some more over the next few nights. I think if Ciaran wasn't still with them, I wouldn't watch it at all though.
Oh...and Druidsgirl...am I wrong or is is 333 'the' number??? I've said that to a few people (ie: that it's not 666) and they gave me a funny look...I don't know where I heard/read it...so perhaps I dreamed it?

I haven't had a chance to watch much of the most haunted live so may have missed the number mentioned.
This number ??? are we referring to the number of the beast? commonly mistaken for 666 but is actually 616 (I believe as originally written in the older versions of the book of revelations).

Did see that there will be a new series of Ghost Hunters but sadly I can't get Living 2 - boo hoo:sad:
I thought that the experiments last night were EXCELLENT on MH - of course the use of 750,000 watts of electricity could not be attempted by investigation teams! I hoped that Ciaran would be picked to stand in the Faraday cage (something I THINK I'd be able to do too!) so that for me was the highlight of the evening - so thumbs up Ciaran  I really felt for Ciaran - Karl and Yvette could tell each other they loved one another, looking at Ciaran I'm sure he was thinking about his loved ones as he was locked in the cage, unable to get that much needed support.
Earlier they were in a pub called the 3 Mariner's - interesting stuff but even I am getting fed up with the screams! It would be interesting to see what Ciaran got on his equipment as a good few collapsed including Chris Conway (the medium - and, I like him) whether there was some natural occurance that could explain what happened.
I like that Phil Wyman is back on board on MH - it gives the Live programmes more balance.
If you had turned off on Wednesday night - last night was MUCH better!
Thanks to David who mentioned that NIPRA would be on UTV and it was perfectly timed! I switched over from MH during a "boring" bit to see NIPRA in Crumlin Rd Prison in Belfast - it was a very interesting piece and hope that they and other investigation groups get more interest in their work!

Yes..Nipra did really well on UTV...it was a good piece alright.
Watched a bit of MH last night...I have to say though, if one of my team was taken to hospital (for whatever reason!) I don't think I would be carrying on my investigation regardless! I know it's a live show, so they can't just stop but I felt for that guy's mother, if she was watching...seeing him unconscious and then knowing he was carted off to hospital!

Well, as I can't get Living 2 and therefore "Ghost Adventures" MH has to do me! last night they were in Gaumont cinema in Liverpool and it was a mixed bag! Billy Roberts was the medium and he picked up on a number of spirits, some kindly, others not so much. He gave some good "hits" but also a number of more obscure ones which lesley was going to find out about.... The most significant activity was the moving of light bulbs - a number smashed around the team... Ciaran left a ligh bulb on a shelf and recorded it by taking photo... however.... (sticking open minded hat on here!) the edited programme did not say if this room was LOCKED, therefore even if the "team" were accounted for, and this location is derelict, it MAY have meant another person in the building who moved it! Anyway when Yvette and the girls went back down - the light bulb was gone! They were using the table on the stage and it began to rock (or was being rocked) and it eventually "flew" off the stage... Hmmmmm - jury out on that one - the camera shot showed approx 5 to 6 people's backs with the table the far side of them.... They did get some good audibles though when Billy was speaking with Yvette in the basement... It should also be said that there were a lot of pigeons flying around and we can't dismiss Henrietta the rat either!!!
druidsgirl
17th November 2009, 04:21 PM
Here's an idea and whoever can pick up on it.... based on the table tipping scenario - if there was some way of modifying something resembling a blood pressure sleeve and attaching same to everybody who is sitting around a table specifically for those using a board (I have never used one and have no intentions either) this "sleeve" would have a microchip in it which would pick up on any conscious or unconscious movement in the bicep - this would help prove that either the sitters at the table are genuine, or.... that they are not genuine and are pushing the glass / planchette / table etc....... one other thing that I have noted in these programmes is the number of projectiles, none of which have a definite source - if 4 cameras at each corner of the room were filming - those viewing would be able to ascertain where the projectile came from - whether it be from a 21st century living person off camera, a device which is primed to be set off either by time or controlled by radio, or from a paranormal influence....... that's my tuppence worth before watching MH tonight!!!!!

I don't think a BP cuff would really work very well, it could be extremely uncomfortable for the wearer and could cause thrombosis if used for longer than a few minutes. Perhaps some form of doppler microphone to measure blood flow in the arm might be more user friendly or build a table/planchette with pressure sensors on the surfaces. Either way their will always be people who claim that it was an entity or spirit that made them move the table/planchette
druidsgirl
18th November 2009, 08:58 AM
cheers Tony for that! I never thought of thrombosis - silly me!!!! :cool126:
Well last night's MH was GOOD - it's been a long time since I could honestly say that the phenomena caught on camera was exceptionally good. I am aware that Ciaran did find Inverary Castle a great location, and what was witnessed was great..... I do like the medium they had on last night - Chris Conway, he is calm and respectful which is the way I personally feel mediums SHOULD be instead of hiding behind "theatrics". If anybody did miss this one - I would urge you to watch it...... there was a small team, phenomena happened ON camera with no hands or feet nearby.... a chair moved however we can't discount a 3rd party / device was involved...... but the library was FANTASTIC - yes books moved and no we did not see the full trajectory of those that did.... however a drawer opened, and the team were affected in a most pleasing way!!!!! It was a good "back to basics" programme, like they all should be!
WATCH IT!!!!!

10th December 2009, 08:38 AM
Can you imagine I haven't posted about MH for a couple of weeks - even though I caught both! Neither were as good as Inverary Castle which I believe is to have some of the best close as possible evidence there is! This week's one was at Cromar Pier and theatre at the end of it. They got some audibles in the dressing rooms - however the structure is mainly wooden, and is over the sea, and was on a blustery night - I think I'm correct in saying that sound carries over water....
Anyway - not that impressed with the actual investigation itself but enjoyed the historical content which I believe to be a very important part of the programme so as to keep these wonderful buildings ALIVE, being used, and cared for.
Employees here had witnessed glasses breaking and falling with shadows etc..
Not bad.... but not great for the paranormal investigator!!!

I'm not sure if anybody got to watch QI last night Dec 14th - on it they discussed the Ouija board - the history of it, and that it was still "owned" by the games manufacturer Parker Bros.
However an interesting tale was told by Stephen Fry - in that a jury who were sitting at a murder trial were dismissed after they decided to contact the murder victim by use of the ouija board at the hotel having left the court room. They apparently were told by the board that the person being tried was in fact guilty. If however they had used the board in the jury room the judge would not have been able to dismiss the jury as the judge is not permitted to know what goes on in the jury room......! The alleged murderer was given a re-trial and the 2nd jury did find him guilty!
Another use for the board was looked in to - by contacting the living - for example troops in another place by their commanding officer, basically a "telephone" but not a telephone! I found this quite interesting and thought I should share it with you! However personally I am NOT in favour of this device for any communication for the living or dead!

Well last night they were in Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire - the medium being Chris Conway who always comes across very well and respectful, he is also honest about not picking up on names immediately - which is a big plus in my book!
The structure itself goes back to 15th century and indeed an earlier building was most likely to have been there before that. The great hall was used during the Jacobite Wars for soldiers and Chris did pick up on this - as the soldiers replayed their daily duties (the sceptic would say "well known fact in history books" the paranormal investigator "residual energy" the believer - well I am one myself - residual energy!)
Chris picked up on a number of kindly spirits before encountering an ill natured one on a spiral staircase, one previous MH regular medium would have said they all are evil - thankfully not on this series - otherwise I wouldn't be watching!!
The night time was of great interest - yes the 2 terrible twins went off together and investigated a cell type room where they got plenty of audibles such as whistling. The girls went to what is called the Green Room and had a bit of a scream before the boys swapped places so the girls could watch CCTV cameras in "the hub" - the guys - Ciaran, karl Chris and Stuart went back to the green room... karl got spooked in here - and why this was.. let's say in Ciaran's own words: "I was most impressed" and we all know that when Ciaran says that he's thinking that they are so close in getting 100% un-debunkable proof but still... sadly not caught on camera!
They did sit at a table (NOT ouija) but seance it was, table it moved - only footage of top of table - so could be team member!!!!
Good one to watch and so glad MH is getting back to basics!

Interesting topic . I personally have been on the board when a spirit did come on. There was no doubt about it that it wasnt one of us. Druid...Ana can back me up on this. The other 4 were part of our team too but it has worked for just Ana and I on it and also for both of us singularly. We have found that you have to get the right combination of people on it. I am not entirely sure of why but it seems to be to do with the individuals energy. We have had the spirit tell us who to put on the board.Ana and myself and 2 others have been on the board when the planchette actually jumped up and down off the board with our fingers on it and made a popping /cracking noise. Before this happened we could feel a twitching in the planchette.
I believe the spirits use cojoined energy from cojoined energy fields or auras and this is a way is the same as a seance and someone acts as the medium. When we were on the board, I used to feel this strange sensation of tingling around my head, then down my arm, and then this pulsating feeling in my finger. You could feel a twitching in the planchette that the others said they coudl feel too and then it would start to jerk.I could also often feel like a pressure of a hand on top of mine.
I dont think attaching some sort of movemtn detection device would work at all, not seeing what the planchette used to do with us. The spirit actually made the planchette jerk and jump which we had no control of and that of course makes us move so it would like we had done it. When the planchette moves quckly and smoothly controlled by a spirit, it of course makes your arm move too because it can go from one end of the board to the other.
I look at ouija and seance as the same thing only that in a controlled seance, the medium is very experienced and would protect the circle . Earthbound spirits will still come through in a seance and some can still be not nice. Same with a ouija except if you are unexperienced in a ouija , some earthbounds can take advantage of this. The people using it, the intentions, the protection of the group and the knowledge make a big difference between them. A lot of natural mediums who dont even realise they are can use a ouija with dramatic results.....and be taken advantage of too. A lot of people shy away from the word medium because it has be glamourised so much but actually little kids who say they saw grandma and grandma was talking to them, are showing mediumistic traits.....that is if they are believed.

well David - with the Live back on I'm watching it on and off - you know what................... If Ciaran was there and Chris Conway and nobody else................... I'd be VERY happy!!!!!!! In fact I think that between them they would be able to delve much deeper in to phenomena instead of being interrupted by "screams" and "oh yes we'd better go there instead..." or "and now for the shortest of short breaks"........... I also think that Ciaran and Chris have a genuine respect for each other, their work and their belief as both are aiming to do the same thing.... find 100% un-debunkable evidence and it couldn't happen to 2 nicer guys if they did get that proof!
Tracey - I understand that SOME boards are genuine - however when they are being televised and there are some people around the board that may / may not be genuine it would be better that they have something to verify that those around the table are not interfering with a planchette or table tipping etc....!!!
Last 2 nights of MH Live - on a deserted RAF base in Norfolk - well known to be haunted and many spirits are kindly and mean no harm - however prior to the base the area was inhabited back in time. Not the same "level" of screaming thank goodness and some interesting phenomena such as copying whistling, or continuing Yvette's well known war time songs... amazingly I haven't heard too much rudeness to the spirits as many are WW2 based and there are many whose children and Grand children and indeed fellows in arms still alive so there has been much more respect shown from some members of the crew..... at long last..... I just wish they would show Chris and indeed Ciaran a bit more respect after all THEY are the ones who will find the evidence.... Chris being a kindly respectful HONEST medium and Ciaran who is a genuine parapsychologist (and dare I say ghost hunter!!!!) who is also refreshingly HONEST.... wish some of the others would go away!!!! More tomorrow!

so last night on the Live - they were investigating the Chapel and the Guard House - for me - the best part of last night was when Chris Conway and Yvette went in to the Chapel on their own......... the "terrible twins" went in later and had things thrown at them - there was the constant whistling (which I have heard myself personally) which indicates spirit activity and had that not occurred I would have been dubious about their experiences..... Ciaran was interested in some plates that had fallen from a shelf in the Guards Room... however there was still too much screaming and interruptions............... and again I will repeat a 3 hour Live of JUST Ciaran and Chris Conway and maybe a camera man would be far more beneficial for somebody interested in the paranormal!! Oh yes... don't forget........ Ciaran and Yvette had a "tiff" and even as a 100% believer I will back Ciaran on that one!!!!

I spent a week at that RAF station in 1990, and while I was there I never heard anyone mention ghosts or spirits. I did notice that depending how the wind hit the perimeter fence on the eastern side, it would sometimes make a droning noise like piston aircraft passing overhead.

Now THAT Tony is very interesting as on another forum a very similar mention was made, and if I am correct in saying it was also suggested that on the squash courts a similar sound of an engine was heard...
Sadly though the ego trippers on MH are ruining it for the viewer actually interested in the subject versus the screachers! Ciaran was getting excited over audibles when Chris Conway was speaking softly and with respect but sadly Chris was stopped mid sentence and we got a "did you hear that? " - No we didn't - not fully anyway - we could hear something when Chris was speaking, Ciaran was standing behind him and you could see a smile appearing on his face but then... all we got was 21st century "did you hear that?"...
The other very annoying thing this Live are the so called "historians" - find a place anywhere in the UK which has NEVER been touched by human hand within a 2 mile radius in the past 4,000 years - I would think it a very slim chance! They have to RESEARCH details - they have plenty of time and yet continue with the same "general" well known history - to be honest I've learnt far more from the former members of the RAF who were stationed there in the past and are sending in texts and emails which are shown on the bottom of the screen....types of Spitfire - the ZX, the various Polish military codes that are coming up on the ouija board (wish they would put it away) one wonders why the MH team did not ask an historian who was either IN the RAF or indeed specialised in military history to at least give us as detailed history as possible - we can all understand that for security reasons not every piece of history can be publicised... however of note - there is less of the "silly" texts and emails being shown and FAR more credible and useful texts and emails are being shown - at long last!
When Ciaran and Chris were banished off elsewhere after 11 pm last night - we had the screaching competition once again - how can the viewer listen for faint audibles when if we turn up the volume on the TV we could have a problem with the decibel level after a screach.. so we keep the volume down and so miss some good evidence! I'll admit - that if either of the 2 great C's aren't on screen tonight - I'll be watching something else.... They don't realise that they have 2 people who are coming from opposite beliefs and are aiming for the SAME goal.... THEY are the stars of the show!!!!!
Will watch again tonight with my hand over the remote!

well night 5 was a good one! Based in the command centre of the RAF base we heard the high pitched squealing again (not from the MH team for once) which was then slowed down and repeated on air... Chris Conway gave great details and connected with 3 airmen and also a young man called Mike who came through on the board.. his love was Molly.. then a viewer contacted the team and said they KNEW of this Mike and indeed his love WAS Molly..... residual energy again as many spirits were continuing their duties...
Ciaran once again got out his Morse Code translator and there was some interesting replies when asked questions both in English and Morse - Ciaran looked positively excited! Right on midnight there was a reply in Morse - not through tapping but actual Morse - on another forum it has been suggested that it sounded to an "expert" and fellow paranormal investigator that this particular Morse sounded telephonic as opposed to actual morse machine but as it was midnight the show closed as Ciaran ran off in hot pursuit of an audible!
Sadly not enough locked off cameras were available - even when "something" MIGHT have been happeneing - why didn't they have a few extra cameras which could be placed in areas of possible interest..? We did have the screamers again..... but I only switched over when the ads were on which is unusual for me!
If you can - watch a recording of this one and see what you think.... I found it interesting!
druidsgirl
15th January 2010, 10:35 AM
well night 6 and the Officer's Mess - straight away there were audibles which were interesting - however in recent weeks I've been feeding 2 pairs of blackbirds in my garden and just as they are being fed they made a sound not unlike the audibles we heard at the beginning of the programme - so if no birds in the building then I'd be happier that it was paranormal...
I wish that Chris Conway was able to finish what he is saying - he did come up with some excellent information and this was verified - he is only using first names due to respecting existing family members as most are from the 1940's..
I had one MAJOR problem last night and it went down to the vote of the audience - it was suggested that Nazi communacation was played in to the building to "get some reaction" - thankfully Ciaran voiced his concerns but sadly they went ahead with this... how disrespectful can they become? RAF voices should be played in RAF bases, Nazi voices should be played in former Nazi bases... these men and women were fighting for their own beliefs and so they ALL deserve respect.... On too few occasions the team have said that there is a difference between Nazi and German - many German families at that time were under a dictator and did not have a democratic voice.....
One team member was sent off to room 7.............. Hmmmmm... Shall we say sceptical on that one!
The screamers were back too..............
Taking the negative out - it wasn't too bad... they had a morse code expert relaying messages from the machine - great! Answers they got! I know it's a live show but there are too many interruptions - the history "buffs" weren't great but at least they did a BIT of research.. not enough for me though.. tonight is night 7 and the last so we'll hope to hear the "all clear" sounded around the base.

Well............. as MH Live over 7 nights has ended their new Live series will be starting this coming Saturday at 9pm... I hope that they have Phil Whyman on as Ciaran has said he won't be doing them... I will also be interested in which medium they will have on, as if one particular medium is on - I WON'T be watching..........
Talking about Mediums - on Tuesday nights on Living - we have Sally Morgan as we follow her and her husband John around her theatre appearances. I really DO like this lady - as far as I am aware she hasn't needed the "shows" and she does have a good reputation, for the sceptical person - she doesn't use "theatrics" and comes across as a very gentle lady who is respectful of everybody... will be watching again next week!

Okay I know I'm talking about MH all of the time - but that is the only paranormal show I get to see and I doubt that you want to hear much about my other favourites such as Mythbusters and Storm Chasers!
New format of MH last Saturday night - Live for 2 hours - WITHOUT the audience / studio / interactive... that meant I watched the full 2 hours and thought MUCH IMPROVED.. I was even impressed! One would presume that they have eventually listened to their critics and instead of listening to "experts" who aren't anything of the sort - the team on Saturday was probably the best I could perceive... Along with the usuals - Ciarán had all his gadgets strapped around him, Chris Conway being the medium.. and WELCOME BACK LESLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know some people aren't so keen on her... but I LIKE her very much..... she IS an historian.... that's what we need on MH... I'll be watching again next Saturday night (luckily going out on Friday night so won't miss it!)

While the PRAOI were wandering around Charleville in the cold... I was lovely and warm with a full tummy and a glass of white wine, watching MH Live - the series - very close to where I once lived - they were exploring the Old Hall at Tatton Park near Knutsford in Cheshire... everything was going okay until Chris Conway was interrupted (AGAIN..) and Ciarán too was brushed off - ARGGGGGHHHHH! This is so annoying - the part I did like was near the end when Yvette was saying there was no way she'd stay in a particular part of the old hall on her own - she then asked Chris C - he replied "Oh yes.. I love this sort of thing" and she turned to Ciarán who was also delighted with the prospect too - maybe they should - in fact I HONESTLY think it would be VERY interesting! Neither man would scream or say "did you hear that?" Both would conduct themselves with respect, we would be able to hear what Chris has to say.. and we would be able to hear what Ciarán says and see what his gadgets come with!!! I'm looking forward to next Saturday night but only to see the 2 C's!!!

Have to agree Druidsgirl.....the way Yvette kept 'shushing' them drove me mad. She does it all the time, doesn't she?! It's especially annoying when she asks them a question, and they begin to reply and then she rudely stops them and begins her 'what was that?' crap......grrrrrrrr!

yep Dom... with all her shushing the viewer CAN'T hear the audibles... maybe she should do hand signals so that we can hear the audibles AND hear what Chris Conway has to say.. Ciarán then can also do his experiments and tell the viewer what he is picking up on... I do like Yvette but sadly she likes the camera on her all the time! The live series is a HUGE improvement but needs more input from experts in their field!

Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield was the subject of the investigation last Saturday (more will be shown tonight Tuesday 9th Feb on Living) and once again both Chris Conway and Ciarán O'Keeffe were subjected to having to be quiet whilst we watched Yvette's face as she "saw" things off camera - as a viewer I want to be able to get the CHANCE to see phenomena - what are Ciarán's gadgets coming up with? Can he explain previous phenomena captured due to magnetic fields? Why can't Chris Conway finish his description of those in spirit he has picked up on? Why don't they REALISE that spirits choose to come forward and if they find they are given the respect as they are by Chris they will communicate with him.. by doing that Chris could ask them to do something which would give proof of their existance and that proof is caught by none other than Ciarán.....
It is INFURIATING to watch especially as they continue to leave those who KNOW what they are doing behind...... however I will have to watch it as I'm hooked on Ciarán, Chris and Lesley!

I think Ciaran is the best thing that has happened to that show. Saying that the producers, Karl and Yvette all cut Ciaran short during the investigations. If they actually used him to his full potencial and allowed him to actually do all the experiments the show would be alot more tolerable. Ciaran himself has said that out of all the experiments he comes up with only a very few of them end up on the show. It's a real shame but the truth never the less.

Indeed Dave... however on another forum it was agreed to bombard the production company saying that we wanted MORE of Ciarán's input and indeed Chris Conway's input as both of them were SEEMINGLY given the "cold shoulder" - I noted that last Saturday and indeed last night's follow up programme that we DID see Ciarán's thermal imager and also heard much more from Chris without interruptions...(whipppeeeeee!!!) As a viewer and a "fan" of MH I want to be able to hear EVERYBODY'S viewpoint... a few weeks ago I couldn't understand why Ciarán and Chris were forced to watch a monitor away from the investigation proper when BOTH of these men have far more valuable expertise that should be aired... whatever the viewer believes or not! Anyway.. I'm hooked I'll be honest... and once again whilst you are wandering around in the cold this coming Saturday I'll be in my own house, glass of wine at hand watching MH! I do intend to join you in the future, but can't this time around!

Last Saturday they were at a rather beautiful building near Ormskirk in Lancashire... at long last......... they got the balance right! Both Ciarán and Chris Conway were given a chance to speak and be heard which has been lacking in previous live nights.. however I still believe that this is the way to go for MH - as the Tuesday night follow up programme was vastly improved last week too, as it was based on the original pre-recorded shows we got used to before demanding indisputable evidence of paranormal activity... Sadly Lesley couldn't make it on Sat BUT we had Fred Batt who is, in his own right, an EXCELLENT person to have on MH. Of note - instead of watching Yvette all the time we watched FEET when knocking was heard... GREAT... we want this as we can then eliminate foot tapping... now of course we will want a camera on hands too! Who knows if there is a table or door that can be tapped in response to questions!! There were a few light anomolies which would have to be checked out... I think that the MOST impressive phenomena on Sat night was when Chris Conway was at the "table" with Ciarán overseeing that, whilst on the investigation proper was being filmed live and a door slammed with those on live broadcast only to have Ciarán come over on his walkie talkie that Chris had asked for that to happen.... I HOPE that tomorrow night's follow up programme is as good as last week's and will say to everybody "have a look and see what you think...!" Living TV 10pm Tuesday 23rd Feb!

Oh dear...... last Saturday and last night's follow up programme was based at Golden Grove in South Wales.. the building itself had a long history with the Vaughan family featuring quite prominently - one of these Vaughan's tortured his servants and indeed tenants with stories of mutilated hands and the removal of tongues etc... so I sat down ready for an interesting night waiting for what Ciarán would find and what Chris Conway picked up on.... Well I waited... and waited some more.... nope? They were sent to watch the monitors in the hub... what is the point of having somebody who has gadgets which can prove / disprove rational natural / paranormal explanations for phenomena watching a screen? Instead the viewer was once again subjected to having to keep the remote control of the TV in hand with finger constantly on volume control! Yes the screamers were back and at full pitch! What really annoyed me most was on the follow up programme (before I switched it over) Matt and Simon were alone for a while in the upper floor and they DID pick up on phenomena had Ciarán been there he would have been delighted.... and the guys were CALM or as calm as they could be. However the live meant we were once again able to watch faces and very little else. The building itself did have bats - we saw one swoop low over Karl's head at one point, and of course other scurrying animals and birds could have made their home in this large empty building. So with Ciarán and Chris C banished to a distant corner of the building - for me PERSONALLY I didn't think much of the investigation as a whole... there is still not enough balance.. yes I do like the live series as there is less chance of phenomena being "manufactured" but is that also the reason why Ciarán and Chris are left out? Hmmmm..... I will say that I do like each and every member of team, and yes I did laugh my head off when Yvette Cath and Lesley were in the cellars, if for anything that footage made the "show" worth watching but NOT for the investigation itself!

Well the last 2 nights of the Live Series could have been much better - the first was in Lincoln Jail and we didn't have too many screams but once again Ciarán and Chris were subjected to sitting in front of a monitor... WHY???.... This really makes me feel that something is going on in the "manufactured" phenomena stakes as the 2 HONEST members of the team were kept away from the investigation proper.. Then last Saturday night they were in Cumbria and once again after a very short intro with Ciarán and a just as short "well who are you picking up on Chris?" - "Nobody at the moment.." we find that once again the 2 HONEST members of the team are watching a screen when everybody else goes on the investigation...
This morning I wasn't surprised one bit to note that Chris Conway has resigned from the show... and I applaud him of his honesty....
MH are supposed to be going to Prague and the "Evil Within" not every haunted site has "evil" entities....... hmm. we'll see I might not watch it!
